Nima Archipelago

'It's sharper now.' Zefner told himself assuredly and placed the dagger aside on the desk. He could let the matter of his personal safety lie, at least, for now. He could distinctly feel the rocking of the ship as the sea goddess stretched and flexed her fingers, sending ripples throughout all the worlds water. Sadly though, Zefner found himself staring again at the dagger, even tracing a finger along the carvings that were aligned down the hilt.
"A sad day when you don't trust yourself with your own weapons" He heard himself say aloud, his voice still holding the immaturity of one who hadn't quite passed the effects of what was known as puberty. He rubbed his chin and wasn't suprised when he didn't feel even a distinct sprout of stubble growing. The thought of growing a goaty made him smile. The thought that hit next though, made him snort back a laugh and lay the dagger to rest once more. Imagining a full grown beard on someone his age took away the edge to being alone at sea for the first time. Perhaps, it'd be alright after all. He headed up to the deck, preparing for what faced him.
